1Sulphur Springs Trail

Located in Paris Mountain State Park, Sulphur Springs Trail is a 3.8 mile loop trail that features bird watching, forest, views and wildlife habitats over a nice variety of terrains. While hiking, you will walk through streams, and mixed pine and hardwood forest. Besides, the trail levels out near the shores of Mountain Lake and the old Greenville water reservoir.

2Table Rock Trail

Located in Table Rock State Park, northwest of Greenville SC, Table Rock Trail is a 6.4 mile that features waterfall, mountain streams, and stunning views but it is rated as difficult. In fact, the trail ascends 2,000 feet, through forest, boulders and across several creeks, to the summit of Table Rock Mountain – 3,124 feet.

At the halfway point of the trail, you will find wooden shelter with benches. This is a good place to stop and take a break before continuing to the granite dome.

3Rainbow Falls Trail

Rainbow Falls Trail is a steep 4.3 mile hike located in Jones Gap State Park that features waterfall, forest, footbridges and bird watching, and is rated as difficult. The trail ends at a beautiful and gorgeous, 100-foot waterfall plunging over a granite cliff face. Last advice, parking at Jones Gap is very limited, so it’ great to come early.

4Raven Cliff Falls Trail

Located in Caesars Head State Park, northwest Greenville, Raven Cliff Falls Trail is a 3.5 mile out and back trail that features forest, wild flowers, views and waterfall.

5Swamp Rabbit Trail

Swamp Rabbit Trail is a 15.6 mile multi-use greenway that features forest, bird watching, lake, river views and waterfall. The trail runs along the Reedy River, an old railroad corridor and City parks, besides it offers several amenities including lighting, benches, water fountains and more.
